Franco
Franco holds a DEC in Social Sciences and is currently pursuing a degree in education, with the goal of becoming a history teacher. His passion for history began in high school, where he consistently earned top grades and discovered his love for breaking down complex historical events into engaging, easy-to-follow stories. At Star Tutoring, Franco tutors a variety of subjects, but he truly shines in history, where his enthusiasm and storytelling approach make the past come alive for his students.

In 2025, Franco led Star Tutoring’s Secondary 4 History workshop, which was a tremendous success and received glowing feedback from both students and parents. With several years of tutoring experience, he is known for his ability to simplify challenging material while keeping sessions interactive and relatable. Franco also has extensive experience supporting students with learning challenges, ensuring every learner feels comfortable, understood, and capable of success. Whether explaining the roots of Confederation or breaking down the world wars, Franco’s sessions feel more like conversations than lectures—making history not just easier to understand, but enjoyable to learn.

His passion for teaching history is rooted in his belief that understanding the past helps students think critically about the present and future. Outside of tutoring, Franco enjoys sports, boxing, and entrepreneurial pursuits, which give him a dynamic perspective that he brings to his sessions. With his mix of academic expertise, creativity, and genuine care for his students, Franco is committed to helping every learner succeed—especially in history, his favorite subject.
